If you want a gacha game that focuses on its story with really interesting worldbuilding and which is one the least predatory gacha games, maybe give Limbus Company a try. Though it does touch on some mature themes in its story. And its tutorial is also really bad, which hides the actually pretty good gameplay. It is a very different experience from most other gachas and has a fixed cast of only 14 characters that follow you through the story.

This is why i stopped playing. A key part of gatcha games to me is having interesting characters and story. But i just cant get invested in any of these people.

I only found Between-Crosshairs on my charger run with the aimbot chip and had a vision of how hard it would be with any other weapon. I’ve never found it since.

I'm the rare tableturfer, but also a low-key overfisher. But more often than not I just like to see how far I can go without losing, and farm scales sometimes. ..and try to do challenges if I don't forget.

You have a video that's not even 10 minutes long, and the actual video doesn't even start until a quarter of the way in.....

i stated this on another youtuber's video when they were detailing the game after release. my overall problem that made me not feel like i should care for wuthering waves was that the only ads i saw for it were on an ai art generator, and all the youtubers who were advertising it do was say there was free rewards and awesome characters. telling me i get free things does not sell me the point as to why i should get the game. it is the same reason why i didn't care for dr ratio. as i took a long break from star rail, i didn't know who this dr ratio fellow is (and i did build him after returning to star rail, but by that point i didn't really need him in my team). after watching the video the other youtuber did, they also stated that the story isn't that great. as someone who tries to do writing, i do know it isn't easy to write people, and also this company for wuthering waves isn't the only one who released a game that went bad at start up. (glances over at cyberpunk) now as for if i will actually get wuthering waves in the future completely depends on if they do improvements and actually make it good. with this new hoyoverse zenless zone zero coming out though, might be a possible chance i lean more towards that than wuthering waves, but who knows. the future can only be guessed, and i know for a fact wuthering waves does better than Tower of Fantasy nonsense. (mini rant for tower of fantasy: it should not take TWO WHOLE MINUTES to scale a mountain or heal, and back when it came out by the time i took down a shield, the monster got its shield back. very good reason why i just stopped playing that game. )

It's kinda true that the story is pretty bland at times , but it is like that in the beginning in most games. And they're setting up something interesting with the black shores, so hopefully the story will have only ups with any downs and some more build up.

I heard that the dub isn't very good in this game

You missed "The Creative Challenger". If you've noticed what me, Glaceon, BlondNinja, and Galaxy get up to sometimes (as in our Side Order Lockout Challenge), then you'd know how creative the Splatoon community can get as well. There's also the "Dedicated Challenger" in the form of Kacero, with his No Damage Challenges, his 24-hour challenges ("Every Splatoon Game 100%" and "X Rank in 24 Hours"), the Splatoon 3 Experience Speedrun, and even some of his albeit more rare non-Splatoon content (such as beating Pokemon White 2 with ONLY a Snivy for instance). And lastly there's the "For Fun" players. This only really applies (in regards to the evidence I'm about to give) for Splatoon 1 and 2, but CallieMacN did a series called "Fun Time with Woomys" for those two games, having decided not to do it again for Splatoon 3, but MY GOD were the things she did on that series with her friends were fun to watch (some examples being Randomizer, Hide & Seek, Juggernaut, Birthday Specials, some challenges of her own, and more). And these are just the types of Splatoon players I see in the community, there might be a Slosher-load (ba dum tss) of types!

As a Salmon Runner who obtained every 999 gold EVP badge, here are some of my tips to Freelancers..... lure as much as possible like maws, take out backliners like flyfish or stingers, paint the walls, be evasive, always SIGNAL OVER HERE and LISTEN if there is a Big Shot also make sure someone stays by the basket so golden eggs don't get snatched up, and PLEASE use your SPECIAL, no your not stockpiling for King Boss Salmonids you only get 1 nor are you getting rewards for doing so, USE your SPECIALS

The casual as I would say but more of a planner of what type of gear to wear on a certain weapon. That works best but I’m getting the pure gear abilities player 🙂 oh I might add 5 ⭐️ weapon too. But I would try new weapons that I’m not really comfortable on.

You forgot two categories: 1. The thrower. The one who finds joy in not contributing to the game as to waste people's time and make other people suffer. A common example is a squid partier. These people do not have friends, thus they force others into sharing their misery. 2. The bot. People who demonstrate a lack of critical thinking skills that hinder a game and thus inconvenience the team. The bot has a high death count while not running QR because somehow they think dying is more useful than actively contributing meaningfully.

I love how u made the complainer, bcs yes, thats probably like the 3rd biggest group on this list of people, theres a lot of people who complain about splatoon or call it a bad game. also id like to add what i call myself and what i know some people to be. The splatoon obsessed, they (I) likes splatoon so much and has so much fun playing it that we have lots of skill and hours and has a wide variety of interest points, salmon run? side order? ranked? theyre the best at all,. they love to play all sorts of weapons, they don't care too much about whats "meta" or what kits r "bad" because they enjoy to play fun weapons instead of trying to win the match. they dont care if they win or lose because theyre just happy to play the game. they also love to clip satisfying moments in game
